We collect a parent email address for account creation. Child profiles include only a first name and avatar color — no email, phone, or identifying information. Stories are stored securely in our database and are only accessible to the parent account that created them.
TaleMakers is designed for children ages 6–8 with a parent account holder. We do not collect personal information from children. We do not serve ads. We do not share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Parent email is used only for login and account recovery. We use anonymized usage analytics (PostHog) to improve the app — no child names or emails are ever sent to analytics services.
Parents can delete their account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Child profiles are permanently deleted upon removal — no soft-delete is retained.
